No textbook can hint at all the methods programmers use in their programs.
We recommend that you read every Pascal program that you can legitimately
lay your hands on.  Sources include other textbooks (watch out, though:
many contain errors, unlike this one), class handouts of this and other
courses, and the LOTS directory <CS10X>.  You might ask more experienced
programmers if you can read some of their programs, but please don't browse
without asking.
